Chronology of cameras Blair
The Blair Camera Company, founded in 1878, was acquired by Kodak in 1899 but continued to produce cameras under its own name for many years.
Starting in 1907, the name "Eastman" began to appear on products manufactured by Blair. Blair introduced its stereo cameras in 1901 after Eastman took control, but the early models did not bear the E.K. designation.
This version is likely one of the early ones, as it only carries the Weno designation.
The Stereo-Weno cameras were equipped with Bausch and Lomb shutters. This particular one allows for T and B exposures and a speed setting marked as "I." The aperture settings range from 8 to 128.
This camera enabled the capture of two images in the 8 x 8 format on 118 roll film or on plates, thanks to the equipped back.
