Chronology of cameras Fed

The FED 2 is the first model of the brand to break with the aesthetic of the LEICA II.
"FED" is engraved in Cyrillic on the front of the housing.

35 mm full-frame rangefinder, interchangeable lens mount in "universal Leica" 39mm thread,
Removable back with opening by two locks on its baseplate,
Curtain type shutter,
Shutter speeds selected by a wheel on the cover: 1/25th to 1/500 + B,
Accessory Shoe,
Built-in dioptric adjustment integrated within rewind button,
Cocking by means of a knob with reminder of the used film and mechanical views counter at its base,
Full frame viewfinder for 50mm with round and dew range image,
Synchro flash,
First FED to provide a mechanical self timer.

This specimen has a very dark blue jacket. Several colors are available.
It is equipped with an Industar M26 F2.8/5cm
