Kewpie 3 is a box camera made out of wood. It is rather large, since the 107 format produces negatives of 8x10.5 cm. Accessing the film is done in an unusual way, as the camera opens up by sliding the darkroom from side to side.
The diaphragm is made out of a rotary plate with four holes of different diameter sitting in front of the objective. A selector located on the top of the camera, next to the handle, allows the selection between snapshot and exposure.
