Chronology of cameras Universal
Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.
Uniflash although it uses films with format 00 , is rather large. That is explained by the fact why the body of the camera has a housing for two stick batteries . These two batteries are necessary to the operation of the flash.
The lens is equipped with a chrome ring, which is not used for nothing, if is not to be made more rich. In the same kind, when we look in the lens (a Vitar 16/60 mm meniscus) we see there what resembles a diaphragm iris, but which is only one perforated plate on which features are engraved imitating the plates of a diaphragm.
In 1941, this camera was worth $4,95.
