If we compare the advertisement to the picture of the camera, we see that the name of the camera does not appear on the camera shown on the advertisement.
It is because the advertisement is dated from 1946, before the issue of the camera on the market . At this time no name was intended to be shown on the body of the camera as it was done on the Lynx.
This camera has been inspired directly from the Lynx II with self timer, adapted to suite the format 135. Similarly to this last one, two versions were made available. One with uncovered metal body and one with black painted metal body .
The super Lynx I may (hardly) be found with miscellaneous lenses . Here, it is a Flor 3,5/50.
In 1953 is launched the Super Lynx II, with interchangeable lenses. Since 1951, the Super Lynx are manufactured in Morocco.
