Chronology of cameras Graflex
During the second world war, the Signal Corps photographic equipment PH -104 could contain different types of cameras : PH -47- E , PH -47 -F.
The cameras are Anniversary models called " Press type" and specially designed for portable use or mounted on a tripod.
They receive holders for 2 films or film packs in 4 x 5 inches and are equipped with a ground glass.
The lens is mounted on a removable plate and a shift is possible, laterally and vertically . It also has a focal plane shutter at the rear of the body.
The framing can be achieved :
- On a rear ground glass
- With a tubular viewfinder
- With a sports viewfinder
- Through a rangefinder .
The PH -104 equipment also contained a synchronized flash , removable additional flash , reflectors, connection cords and extension cords, a cable release , a sun visor, a lens cap with an adapter , filters, film holders , a film pack , tripod and cloth for focusing .
These devices were stored in a fiber suitcase PH- 81
