The Taiwanese company bearing the name Franka has nothing in common with the German manufacturer of the same name. Their respective periods of production do not overlap.
The Asian manufacturer is (was?) specialized in producing plastic cameras, mainly intended to be sold under other brand names or to be used as promotional gifts.
These cameras are technically very basic. So far, the cameras identified are all in 110 format, a format whose production Kodak discontinued during the 1990s.
Civica is a Taiwanese brand registered simultaneously in several countries in 1986. The declared field of activity was photography. The manufacturer is Franka (Taiwan).
Whether it is called Civica PG-1 or Mundia, this camera is very simple, with no adjustments.
The design decorating the round cover over the lens is variable. Red-colored models can also be found.
The front of this example has become somewhat yellowed from exposure to light.
