Chronology of cameras Voigtlander

The body of this 9 x 12 reflex camera is entirely metal. Voigtländer also offered it in wood in formats 6.5 x 9, 9 x 9, 6 x 13, 10 x 15, 12 x 16.5, or 13 x 18 cm.

This camera has interesting features such as the mirror lifting during the shutter cocking and the automatic deployment of the viewfinder hood. The ground glass is adjustable, facilitating focusing vertically or horizontally, which is done using a rack and pinion.

The focal plane shutter allows reaching speeds of up to 1/1000th of a second, and a telephoto tube transforms the lens into a telephoto lens. The Voigtländer catalog recommends this camera for capturing moving animals.

The camera with Heliar 4.5/180 mm lens, 3 double film holders, and a metal trigger was sold for 575 francs in 1926.
