Chronology of cameras Leonar
The German company Lüttke & Arndt, which later became Arndt & Lowengard and then Leonar Werke, was located in Wandsbek, near Hamburg. It produced photographic plates, films, and papers, and also manufactured cameras between 1900 and 1918.
L'identification de la marque ne pose pas de problème, son nom étant indiqué sur une plaque au pied du U supportant le bloc objectif/obturateur et sur le cadran de réglage de la vitesse d'obturation. Celui-ci est un Gauthier Derval, bien qu'il soit marqué Leonar.
Sur le côté gauche, on trouve la plaquette du vendeur de cet exemplaire : Photo Echange 9, rue du Conseil Général à Genève.
