Chronology of cameras Hoei
Hoei Industrial Co. (Japan) has released in 1959 this beautiful 127.
It is beautiful, all-metal, covered with plastic leatherette.
Its manufacturing is neat, all its elements are screwed.
But it is a toy. Its diaphragm (iris) offers the apertures 1:8 to 1:22.
Its shutter offers only one speed with a flash sync socket.
The trigger can be locked: a window, similar to a rangefinder window is then closed by a red cover. Its ever ready case is made of real stitched leather, internally lined with red felt.
I forgot: the lens! A 5 cm focal length meniscus .
I know nothing of its optical qualities, but I doubt it! This false rangefinder is not a Leica. But it is much more elegant and better built than a Diana!
