In spite of strong resemblances to the CX-1, the CX-2 differs by its lens. The CX-1 has a Cosinon 3.5/33 mm, whereas here we have one 2,8/35, more luminous.
At the moment of the centring, the focusing is visualized by four symbols appearing in bottom of the image. The CX-2 also has a mechanical self-timer (the lever is visible under the scales of the apertures) and the couplings for the winder CX.
The CX-1 and the CX-2 were presented at the time of Kina 1980.
