Chronology of cameras Asaflex
The brand Asaflex was registered on March 15, 1977, and renewed in February 1987, by the Compagnie de Diffusion Internationale et Commerciale (S.A). It was re-registered in February 1988, again for photographic equipment.
Subsequently, the "Gorthex Group" (located at 140 rue de la Pompe, 75016 Paris) simultaneously filed for the trademarks Asaflex and Gorthex on January 23, 1997.
The Asaflex AS-727 is an entry-level camera with limited features. It is a fixed focus model, equipped with a low-brightness lens (5.6/35 mm), an automatic flash, and automatic film sensitivity recognition. It is covered in a soft plastic that was likely pleasant to the touch at one time but has become sticky. It could possibly serve as a lint brush.
