Elite is a Chinese company whose full name is Elite Precision Machinery Co. It specializes in the manufacture of plastic molding machines and has been in existence since 1984.
It is difficult to determine whether this camera was manufactured by the company itself or if it is a promotional item for its branding.
This is a very simple camera, featuring automatic sensitivity adjustment via DX code recognition. The film advance is motorized. The lens (possibly a single-element design) is Japanese, which indicates that the camera itself is not, but there is no information on the actual place of manufacture. Some similarities can be found with certain Haking cameras.
