The PF3 is an intermediary between the PF2bis and the Universel one. The body and mechanics are close to those of the Universel , but the mounting of the lens remains with screw as on 2 stars and PF2bis.
It has slow speeds on a button separated like the Universel , but only T, 1,2,5,10 and 25. The winding is done with a button, but there is the PF3L, equipped with an advance lever. From model with button, between 1947 and 1959, OPL launch several variants, which in addition to their technical differences are recognized by their job number. This one goes back to 1956-59 (it is about the last). It is characterized by a button in advance from film larger and surmounted from a memo film.
This series is numbered from 405.050 to 412.900. The specimen below carries number 406.502 on the accessory clip.
