Chronology of cameras Vivitar
The Vivitar T101 is a compact camera with no technical or aesthetic interest whatsoever, until the day its transparent version became an advertising item produced in numerous variants. While the technology is still not worth spending time discussing, the existence of pinkish and bluish shades, along with changes in the colors of the mechanical parts, make the model (slightly) more appealing.
The collector can also have fun looking for the different brands that have had their logo placed on this camera.
As for Vivitar's role, it is likely that it was limited to granting a trademark license to the Hong Kong manufacturer (where Vivitar had offices) Asia Optical Industries Ltd.
The Vivitar CV35 appears to be the flash-equipped version of the T101. The concept is the same. There is no proof that it came from the same factory, despite the obvious similarities. Another unnamed model, also equipped with a flash, is identical except for the flash power button.
