Chronology of cameras Ernemann

The Miniature Klapp by Ernemann is a beautiful klapp camera, well built. It is a model of the plate shutter  type (ie focal plane shutter). It is very well finished, a flap helps to protect it when not in use. There were two versions of this klapp by Ernemann:
The version on this page is visible in the catalogs dated 1922. From 1923 on another version, the buttons are round. The unit itself seems to grow then, since according to the catalogs it goes from 3.5 x 7 x 9 cm and 400 g to 4 x 7 x 10 cm and 680 g.
This Klapp appear again in 1926 in the Zeiss Ikon catalog and then until the late 20's : Zeiss Ikon Miniature Klapp

This device is often considered as the base or the precursor of the mythical device Ermanox, appeared in 1926.
