Chronology of cameras Polaroid
From 1952 to 1964, Polaroid produced the Pathfinder series: 110 (1952-57), 110A (1957-60) and 110B (1960-64). Polaroid considered the Pathfinders to be the top of the line of its production, for expert customers.
These are Folding type cameras, with a plastic bellows. Part of the body is plastic (cover) but the rest is metal, which makes them heavy models due to their large size. They are equipped with efficient shutters and lenses.
They use roll film, Rollfilm Type 42 or Rollfilm Type 47. The most visible difference between the three models is the shape of the rangefinder.
Their selling price was very high, since it almost reached that of a Rolleiflex.
These Polaroid models were exported to France, but their very high price makes them fairly rare cameras on this side of the Atlantic.
