Chronology of cameras Tiranty
The Vérographe is a stereoscopic jumelle type camera, exclusively produced by E.P.T. (Etablissement Philippe Tiranty). Its identification is made easier by the presence of its name on the front panel.
This camera is available in 45 x 107 mm and 6 x 13 cm formats. It is made of metal, specifically copper covered with fine-grain Morocco leather. It is equipped with a Jacquet magazine (holding 12 plates or 8 Autochrome plates). An optional adapter allows the use of single plate holders.
The front panel is flat and rectangular, with controls grouped between the two lenses. The pneumatic brake shutter is concealed and offers speeds from 1/10 to 1/120.
Focusing is variable from 1.5 meters, adjusted via a helical system, with a special position for Autochrome plates. The camera also features vertical shift for fine composition adjustments.
There are numerous combinations of format and lens options available.

There is a stereo-panoramic 6 x 13 version of the Vérographe. The Vérographe Tropical features an ungained nickel finish.
Around 1926, Tiranty announced the end of Vérographe production, replacing it with the Aristographe. __________
