Voigtlander made evolve the Bessa model at various periods: 1935, 1937, 1945 and 1950. It is about here the model manufactured from 1937 to 1942.

This folding camera is quite manufactured. By the addition of a specific plate inside the camera, it is possible to make pass this one of 6 x 9 to 4.5 x 6 cm. The bellow is out of leather and the coating of the body is of beautiful quality. The brand and the name] of the model are clearly encrusted in the high part, and the name of Voigtlander is take again on the back, engraved transversely between the two inactinic windows. The back is with hinge and the loading of film is facilitated by the rocker of the reels-holders. The trigger release, located on the flap, is protected when the camera is closed.

All in all, it takes again the characteristics of Bessa of 1935, but differs by the metallic parts of black colour and her central viewfinder protected by a cap which opens on the side. The closing of this cap folds up simultaneously the two viewfinders.

This camera exists with several couples lens/shutter.

A plate of the dealer Photo-Plait is affixed under the flap. With this lens and this shutter, it was worth 1440 francs according to catalogue 1938 of this dealer.
