Cet Atlas 6 x 6 se caractérise par une prise synchro-flash de type M présente sur le groupe optique / obturateur. Cet équipement était proposé en option pour être compatible avec les flashes utilisant les ampoules magnésiques. Cette option était payante, c’est ce qui explique qu’on ne la rencontre pas systématiquement sur tous les boîtiers Atlas 6 x 6.
