Chronology of cameras Bentzin
The Primarette is a very particular, even unique, camera. It consists of two superimposed darkrooms. Each has its own lens and bellows. The upper one is solely used for focusing, and for this purpose, the lens is equipped with a parallax correction system. The one at the bottom is a completely ordinary bellows camera.
The whole assembly may seem large, considering it uses the 127 format, but it's essential to remember that the film is only behind the lower chamber.
