Chronology of cameras Agfa
Starting in 1964, Agfa introduced a second range of Optima cameras, in parallel to the existing Optima I, II, III, etc. The cameras included in this range were built using the same body as the new Silette Record. They featured a selenium light meter. There were only two models: the Optima 500, available with two different shutters, and an updated version known as the Optima 500 SN. In the latter, distance symbols were projected into the viewfinder. A self-timer was added as well. The lens used was a Color Solinar.
