On doit l'origine de cet appareil à Fritz Kaftanski. C'est un appareil qui emploie du film 16 mm non perforé, produit 38 photos de format 18 x 24, ne pèse que 185 grammes. L'obturateur est plus large que l'appareil lui même!
Il est déjà rare avec les objectifs Victar (360 francs), Cassar(475 francs) ou Trioplan(680 francs). Il devient très rare avec l'Astrar 2,7(1240 francs), exceptionnel avec le Pan-Tachar 1,8 (1480 francs) et rarissime avec un Tachon 0,95.
