Chronology of cameras Certo

The Certo-Six, considered the flagship of the brand, marks the pinnacle of Certo's production. The models that followed it would present a completely different face, as the brand's production shifted towards small, all-plastic consumer compacts (let's not forget that we are in a communist country at that time, where production needs to be planned for the masses).

This well-built rangefinder camera featured remarkable innovations for its time, such as:

- Automatic parallax correction by shifting the lens axis relative to the film plane.
- A rapid film advance lever.
- A viewfinder eyepiece allowing the assembly of corrective glass for glasses wearers in workshops.
- A semi-circular window on the top indicating the focus setting.

Three types of shutters were offered: Synchro-Compur, Prontor-SVS, and Tempor. The latter being an East German production.

There exists a variant where the depth of field table is replaced by a dial indicating the film used, and where the shutter release button is trapezoidal in shape.
