Chronology of cameras Liebe

The original Monobloc was made Boucher until 1912, date when the engineer/manufacturer Victor Liebe  took over the production. Then, this stereo-panoramic camera will not practically undergo any change.
The cocking of the Boucher brand shutter is made by pushing the piston rod located under the plate, to the left. The choice of the shutter speed is carried out by turning the wheel located on the left side of the cylinder under the plate. Speeds are numbered from 0 (pose T) to 6 (1/100).
The panoramic format format is obtained by sliding the front panel to the left (looking at the front of the camera). This brings the right lens at the machine's center and retracts the internal separation wall between the two darkrooms. The lens then covers the entire surface of the sensitive plate and provides a panoramic view.
The presented photo shows the camera with a mirror raised to 45 ° behind the front viewfinder. This system transform the viewfinder into a waist viewfinder. there is the possibility to fold the mirror and to use the second part of the viewfinder located on the back of the unit as shown on the Nil Mélior. This arrangement allows to aim at eye level.
The magazine receives six black and white plates or four Autochrome plates. The back of each plate is engraved with the number of the view that is visible through an inactinic window.
To shoot with Autochrome plates, you had to pull upward the front panel of the unit, and to discover behind this plate two square housings to insert the Autochrome Lumière filters .
