C'est un hybride folding / chambre ; c'est à dire une chambre classique à plaques 8 x 10,5 que l'on peut transformer en folding à pellicule 8 x 10,5 en insérant un dos particulier. Nous comprenons maintenant d'où vient son nom de Duplex. Cette solution est bien connue en France, grâce aux appareils Girard Le Rêve.
