Chronology of cameras Agfa
The Agfa Karat 36 resembles a Karat but does not use the Karat cartridge. Instead, it utilizes the 135 cartridge developed by Kodak. This allows for a capacity of 36 exposures. The camera is modified to enable rewinding the film into the supply cartridge before opening the back.
There are four versions of this camera, each featuring renowned lenses:
- Agfa Solinar 50/2.8 (4 elements)
- Agfa Solagon 50/2.0 (6 elements)
- Rodenstock Heligon 50/2.0 (6 elements)
- Schneider Xenon 50/2.0 (6 elements)
Notably, there's a rapid winding lever on the right side that requires a unique backward movement to arm the camera.
