Ce Tenax a pour nom complet Coat Pocket Tenax, ce qui le différencie du Vest Pocket Tenax, un peu plus ancien.
Sachant qu'un manteau (Coat) est plus grand qu'une veste (Vest), on comprend que le nom du modèle est à l'image de sa taille. Le Coat est un 6,5 x 9 cm, alors que le Vest est un 4,5 x 6, les poches devant être de taille proportionnelle à celles du vêtement.
Cet exemplaire porte la plaquette du revendeur : « Optische Anstalt G.A. Urmetzer NF. Mainz ».
