Chronology of cameras Ihagee
This Ihagee Parvola is for 127 film (8 exposures of 4 x 6,5 cm) or plates of 4,5 x 6 cm, corresponding to the model Zweiformat 1550. It has one uncovered red window on the back. The presence of strap lugs and uncovered red window suggest it was made in the early Zweiformat production period, around 1933-1934.
The shutter is a Compur delivering speeds in the range 1 to 1/300 plus B and T. The lens is a Carl Zeiss Tessar with 6,5 cm of focal length and maximum aperture of 4,5.
