Chronology of cameras Voigtlander

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.

Ultramatic CS took the succession of Ultramatic which was appeared in 1962. The essential difference with this model, it is that the frontal selenium cell was replaced by a CdS cell (from where the CS of the name). It is about a disengageable automatic reflex camera (Bessamatic is semi-automatic) with choice speed or diaphragm and interchangeable lens. The mirror is with automatic return. The viewfinding is possible without winding. The Synchro-Compur shutter allows speeds from one second to 1/500 sec. This camera was very expensive when launched (1355 francs in francs, with Septon 2/50 mm)

It shares its range of interchangeable lenses with Bessamatic.
