Chronology of cameras Agfa
The Agfa ePhoto 1680 is named after its resolution of 1680 x 1200 pixels (through interpolation). It is a variant of the ePhoto 1280, but with improvements, including the resolution. The overall design of the camera remains the same. The body is composed of two parts that can pivot 280° relative to each other. One of these parts supports the lens and flash, while the other part supports, among other things, the screen, which is the only means of framing the shot.
At the end of the pivot axis is a wheel that replaces the buttons. It is turned to make a selection, and to confirm the choice, it is pressed down. This system, called EasyPilot by Agfa, is innovative.
Agfa, and it is unfortunate that other manufacturers did not follow suit, directly indicates the focal length of its zoom lens in 35mm equivalent, which avoids any mental calculation for conversion.
