Chronology of cameras Kenko
The Kenko KF-2N is a Nikon F (AI) mount SLR camera with manual exposure control.
In addition to long time exposure (B), the shutter speed ranges from 1 second to 1/4000.
The viewfinder is uncluttered, the information being limited to 3 diodes (correct exposure, over and under exposure).
Focusing is manual with a split-image range finder line at a 45° angle surrounded by a microprism doughnut.
Multiple exposure is available via the front button on the top cover, under the frame counter. A push button allows depth of field preview.
The KF-2N is externally identical to the silver version of the Kenko KF-1N. The only difference is the color of the shutter speed dial top plate which is silver for the KF-2N and black for the KF-1N (with a KF-1N shutter speed limited to 1/2000).
The KF-2N can also be found under the Chinese brand Phenix with the reference Phenix DN66.
The Kenko KF-2N served as the basis for the Kenko KF-M1 (specifically designed for the Japanese distributor MapCamera).
