Chronology of cameras Butcher

This stereo camera is small in size. Its format is very common: 45 x 107 mm. It is well-known in France as it was used for a large number of stereo plates during World War I.

It is made of metal, covered with leather. The double bellows extends by pulling on a rectangular handle attached to the base of the U. The focus adjustment is done using a wheel and a pinion.

The shutter is a always-ready model, and while the brand is not specified, it can be replaced upon request with a Compound shutter. There are four different models: No. 1 (with Aldis Uno lens f/7.7), No. 2 (similar but with Compound shutter), No. 3 (with Zeiss Tessar lens f/6.3), and No. 4 (similar but with Compound shutter).

In this case, Butcher did not even change the model name. It is an ICA Stereolette (611).
