Chronology of cameras Bloch

Léon and Edmond Bloch constructed highly original cameras that likely had only moderate success in their time. Consequently, these cameras are now highly sought-after rarities among collectors.

This 6 x 13 stereoscopic camera is equipped with a guillotine shutter featuring five speeds achieved through spring tension, along with a time and instantaneous exposure selector. There are three apertures on a perforated plate.
The lenses resemble those of a theater lorgnette, serving not only for viewing transparency slides but also for opaque images by installing a slide holder (absent...) on the top of the camera.

Léon Bloch filed a patent (GB190122646) in 1901 for a device combining a stereoscopic camera and an opera binocular.
