The Cosina Hi Lite is a reflex with the M42 mount and with focal plane shutter and TTL cell, released in 1971. Its metal curtain shutter (Copal) is equipped with three blades on vertical scrolling. Shutter speeds range from 1 second to 1/1000 per sec + B setting with a flash sync at 1/125 per sec.
The light metering is made with the real aperture, by a TTL cell coupled with the shutter speeds. The sensitivity ranges from 25 to 1600 ASA.
The view is reflex with Fresnel glass, and central micro-prisms crown.
The lens is a standard lens 50mm f/1.8 Cosinon in M42 mount.
This camera with a very classic design and robust has been sold under various retailer brands: Flash (Ifbaflex T1000) or Ringfoto in Germany (Ringfoto CBC).
The design is very classic among the compact cameras of that time
