Chronology of cameras Kodak
The similarity of the No. 2 Bullet with the No2 Bulls-Eye owes nothing to chance. Reading the Bulls-Eye page, you learned that this device was first manufactured by a company for Kodak from 1892 to 1895 up to the purchase of this company by Kodak. During these few years, Eastman Kodak manufactured the No2 Bullet while paying the right to use the patent filed by the other firm about the invention of the numbered back paper film. Probably tired of paying, Kodak ended up buying the company and its patent.
Consecutively to this purchase, both cameras were kept in the Kodak catalog. Although they were so close, the production of one of the two was not stopped.
