Chronology of cameras Wuensche
Traduction de Pierre Yves Petit.
McKeown tells us that Wuensche is one of the manufacturers that took part into ICA.
This is a 13x18cm plate folding. There are two ID plates inside the camera: the first one states
"Emil Wuensche Dresden", the other one "Fabrique d’ébénisterie photographique Ancienne Maison Carpentier. J. Waillant successeur 18 bis rue Gasparin LYON". [Photographic woodworking factory, formerly Carpentier. J. Vaillant, successor 18 bis rue Gasparin LYON].
This is a high quality camera: the mahogany frame is covered in morocco leather. It has tilt and shift capabilities. The lens is a Doppel Anastigmat 1:6.8 N° 2 F= 180 mm E. Wünsche AG. Reick. The shutter is a compound Automat, with a piston that can receive a bulb release. Speeds are ranging from 1s to 1/100th plus B and T.
The camera has a double extension bellows, and there are two focusing scales. The finder is a sport finder, but it has a set of two mirrors enhancing the framing precision.
