Chronology of cameras Voigtlander

The Heliar 4.5/180 mm lens is the namesake of this 9 x 12 camera. It is mounted on a board that can be vertically and horizontally shifted.

The focal plane shutter is armed using a round button located on the side, enabling shutter speeds up to 1/1000th of a second, thus allowing for capturing fast movements. Focusing is achieved via rack and pinion, assisted by the ground glass or by referencing the graduated scale.
