Chronology of cameras Ross
The Ross Century bellows-cone chamber is of lightweight construction, possibly through the partial use of metal instead of wood, which facilitates its portability. In the manufacturer's advertisements, the Century was particularly dedicated to technical uses such as document reproduction, photographing artworks, etc.
Two categories were offered by Ross at the time: double or triple bellows extension.

The triple extension version allows the use of large focal length lenses. In this version, a half-plate (6½ x 4¾ inches) camera allowed for an extension of nearly 660 mm. The camera enables significant vertical shift as well as tilt of the front and rear sections.
The setup could be mounted on a tripod with a rotating head. However, for formats 10 x 8 inches and above, a second lightweight tripod, offered optionally, was recommended to support the front of the camera. The tripod with a rotating head, along with three double film holders, was included as a set with the camera.
