Chronology of cameras Acro
The Acro Model R is a camera made of bakelite and metal. It's a very comprehensive Candid camera, equipped with a rangefinder, an extinction exposure meter (extinctometer), a tripod socket, and an Acro shutter ranging from 1/25 to 1/200 seconds. In short, it's quite different from most other Chicago-made cameras of the time.
In 1940, it was sold for $18.50 with the f/3.5 lens and $15 with the f/4.5 lens.
There is a similar model named Marvel.
