Chronology of cameras Ansco
On the front door is inscribed the name of this model, Ansco Speedex 45 Special. It is the Americanized version of an Agfa camera imported from Germany. The lens and shutter are from the original model. The Prontor-S shutter allows a speed of up to 1/300, whereas the Speedex 45 is limited to 1/200.
There exists a nearly identical model, differing only in its Prontor-SV shutter.
