Chronology of cameras Asaflex

The brand Asaflex was registered on March 15, 1977, and renewed in February 1987, by the Compagnie de Diffusion Internationale et Commerciale (S.A). It was re-registered in February 1988, again for photographic equipment.
Subsequently, the "Gorthex Group" (located at 140 rue de la Pompe, 75016 Paris) simultaneously filed for the trademarks Asaflex and Gorthex on January 23, 1997.

The EF-40, EF-18 and EF-672 models are externally identical. These are simple cameras: fixed focus, manual film advancement, electronic flash, two apertures (with or without flash). The actual reason for having three different references for the same model escapes us.
