Chronology of cameras Colnaghi Dalzini
"The Universal Camera" is a generic name used by Colnaghi, Dalzini & Co, a manufacturer based in Milan, and whose representative in France was Emile Target.
The cameras with this name are either box cameras or detective cameras. They are made of American wood and covered with various types of coatings. The shutter is simple, allowing for time exposure and instantaneous shots, except for cameras in the L series, which have a pneumatic shutter.
They are divided into several series.

There is an error on the catalog page presenting the cameras of the B series. In the engraving, a film winding key can be seen, and the text says that it is a camera for roll film, but the small table of combinations mentions 6 or 12 plates.
Looking at the sale prices and their increase from one series to the next, it appears that the cameras of the B series are indeed box cameras. Therefore, the dimensions given for the negatives become doubtful.
