Chronology of cameras Zeiss Ikon
Traduction de Manuel M
One distinguishes two generations of Contessa LKE. The first series is recognizable by its accessory shoe not synchronized positioned in the centre of the hood, by its double chrome window gathering viewfinder and cell for one and rangefinder for the other.
The ring of operation of the rangefinder around the lens is out of chromium-plated metal and is entirely notched.
The second series has an eccentric synchronized accessory shoe with left hand, a single glass marked Zeiss Ikon in fronting and the ring of operation of the rangefinder is equipped with two black plastic earpiece.
One can think that the camera presented here is of the end of the first series because it has already this ring. In that it differs a little bit of the camera already on the site.
A coupled cell indicates by displacement of a needle if the couple speed/aperture chosen by the operator is correct. All this information are available inside and outside the viewfinder.
