Apart from its front panel, the Ricoh Super 66 has all from the Super Ricohflex.
In 1958 Ricoh releases the Ricoh Super 44, a TLR 4x4 on 127 film.
May be they wanted to create a range effect in some countries by renaming the Super Ricohflex in Ricoh Super 66.
