Chronology of cameras Ricoh
This Ricohflex called "New Diamond" is an evolution of the Diamond.
The frame counter, film advance and stop mechanisms are now integrated into the camera body.
The values of the exposure time and diaphragm settings are returned to a window above the viewing lens to be visible from the top of the unit.
The viewing and taking optics are both 3 lenses 80mm f1: 3.5 and now have a Bay I bayonet.
The Citizen shutter allows the 1/400th of a second and includes a self-timer and flash sync with M and X settings.
There is no protection against double exposures.
A sync contact appears on the accessory shoe on the side.
The focusing hood still has a magnifier to assist the focusing and a sports viewfinder.
This model is difficult to distinguish from Diamond G
The Ricohflex Diamonds are also called Dia or Diacord.
