Chronology of cameras Alpa

The Alpa Mercure is an integrated microcopying system. It allows for photographing documents ranging from A7 to A4 size and creating microfilms in 10 x 15 or 11.75 x 16.5 mm format.

The documents to be photographed are placed in a drawer, which is then inserted at the base of a machine, with the top part being an Alpa camera body. In this camera, the lens is interchangeable depending on the size of the document to be photographed.

Considering the size of the negatives, a 135 film allows for a significant number of shots: 100 to 125.

An electronic flash is built into the machine to illuminate the document being photographed.
