L'Olympus AZ-330 fut présenté lors de la PMA (Photo Marketing Association) de 1990. C'était le second appareil dit "cubique" de la marque japonaise, après le AZ-300.
Sur le marché nord-américain, il portera le nom d'Infinity.
Par rapport au AZ-300, il bénéficie d'un flash anti-yeux rouges par pré-flashage.
