Chronology of cameras Krugener
This folding plate camera, which bears no brand or model indication has been classified as unknown in my collection during a long time.
It is only by seeing the same offered for sale on an auction site as a Krügener that I could, after verification, identify it definitely.
The model presented here is in the format 9 x 12cm , but the Delta Minimum also exists in 6.5 x 9cm, 9 x 14cm, 10 x 15cm and 13 x 18cm.
The bellows being double extension, the focusing is done by means of two ivory plates bearing the distance information.
In simple extension position, the metal arrow at the bottom of the lens stand must be positioned in relation with the values of the plate on the rightmost of the bed.
In double extension position, a line engraved on the back of the sliding stand should be aligned with the values on the plate which is longitudinal.
The aesthetics of the Koilos shutter added to the manufacturing quality of Krügener make this small folding plate a very beautiful decorative object.
