Le Lordox Primus est basé sur un Lordomat Standard (version sans oeillet) sur lequel l'objectif d'origine a été remplacé par un objectif de moins bonne qualité. Le Triplon est un objectif à trois lentilles, alors que les Lordomat ont des objectifs à au moins quatre lentilles.
